How to use this archive
- Finding photos
- On the first page, tap one of the pages or profiles. Its photos appear newest first; tap Oldest to start from the beginning, or use Go to month to jump to a month, such as December for Christmas.
- Looking at a photo
- Tap a photo to see it large. Swipe left or right for the next one, and tap the cross at the top to go back.
- Searching
- Type a word in the search box to find photos whose writing contains it.
- Dates
- Most photos show the date and time they were posted (UK time). A date marked estimated has been worked out, and could be a little later than the real one. "Date unknown" means we don't know.
- "Written in the post" and "View post"
- If a photo was saved without its own writing, we show what the post said, marked "Written in the post". View post opens the whole post in our posts archive.
- Something wrong?
- Tap Report under the photo, or use the contact page.

This is a historical archive of images and captions from the Facebook profiles and pages associated with Jayne's Baby Bank. It is compiled and maintained by Sherlock for JaynesBabyBank.co.uk.

- Unredacted and as-is. Everything is shared exactly as it was found, with no editing or redaction, so the public record stays complete and accurate. Captions are shown as they appeared with each image. Where an image was saved without one, the text of the post it was shared in is shown instead, marked "Post text", and "View post" opens that post in our posts archive.
- No endorsement. We do not condone, encourage or endorse any message, opinion, language or behaviour shown. Including something here is not a statement that it is true.
- Content warning. Some material contains offensive language, personal allegations or upsetting content. Viewer discretion is advised.
- Dates. Exact dates come from the original file names, or from the post record an image belongs to, and are shown in UK time. Where a file has no exact date, an estimate may be shown, always marked "estimated" ("About…", "Between…" or "Before…"). It is worked out from the number Facebook gives each image, which rises over time; checked against 7,437 photos with known dates, it was within a day for 98% of them. An estimate can come out later than the real date, never earlier. Files with neither are marked "Date unknown".
- Not Facebook. This is a read-only, self-hosted archive. It is not affiliated with Meta or Facebook, is not a live profile, and does not take donations or payments.
- Rights and concerns. Copyright in the original material stays with its owners. It is reproduced for record-keeping, criticism, review and reporting in the public interest. If you believe something here is unlawful or infringes your rights, please contact us and we will review it promptly.
How the archive is organised
Each profile or page has its own folder. Images are shown newest first, with the Facebook caption that went with them where one was saved. Files with no date in their name come last, in Facebook's own ID order. New material appears here automatically as it is added.
