Can I remind everyone if you need a collection you need to book in and pay the collection charge. We do not collect items for free especially furniture. This service would cost you £60 per furniture item with a man with a van and our staff need to he insured. If we are passing a mums house then we can collect for free but not furniture or heavy items they need to be booked in. We also don't do "asap now or I will take it to the tip" request free pick ups. Can I also remind people no dirty, stained, damaged or incomplete donations. Prams/car seats need and anything bigger than a chest of draws needs to be authorised by myself before dropped off. I have safty checks to complete BEFORE you drop it off. Otherwise I have told the volunteers to refuse the donations. We also do not accept haggling. The prices are set. I've had someone after the German lamp again in Blackwood shop. The price is on it. If you are a re seller please remember that our prices such as £1 clothes and 3 for £1 children clothes are for families ONLY. RE SELLERS pay the full price plus the offer % discount. If re sellers are disrespectful to staff then they will be stopped from using out shops. The foodbank is only for Mothers with children under 18 that follow our terms and conditions. If you do not fall into this category then ring citizens advice for a food bank voucher and tell them I have refered you as you do not meet our criteria. Thank you.
