Hi guys - if you would like to make financial donations towards the baby bank then please remember you can do this via our payment method. This means any financial donations are tracked and traceable like our sales, out goings and running costs. How these funds are then used is also tracable what they are spent on. We can also provide you with copies of receipts of what finacial contribution are spent on for your records. By using this method there are no grey areas or myths that need debunking where the donations are being used. I will always remember a guy who pledged £1800 who told us previously he had given that amount to a charity shop and then a staff member said it was split between the staff not given to the charity . Also some of these charity shops stand there talking to you after you have paid cash for you sale and they havn't pressed cash on the register - and it probally never makes it into the till while they are waving you goodbye . Always ask for a receipt because they have to open the till then or pay by card in a charity shop. We can provide sales receipts also.
