13 Jul 2024, 9:34am Susan Ennis one of our volunteers who works from home has been collecting jars ready for our first Mothers Free Craft Club!!! We are thinking decoupage the jars for the first session! Anyone like to run the session at the donation centre daytime /evening??

Sparkle Appeal : help a Mother with a Christmas outfit for their Christmas party. We need as many sparkling outfits, shoes, bags, jewelry ✨️ as possible for this event! Some Mothers look forward to their Christmas party because its the only time they get to go out or they can't afford to go! #sparkleappeal #mother

A Pyrex bowl is not £1.50 new and never has been. 6 body suits are not cheap in asda. Continual price whingers will be removed and blocked/banned. Quick enough to ask for nappies and foodbanks - where do you think the money comes from to pay for them.

Don't let any energy companies in the shop especially eon. We are not with them and they are trying to take over the meters. Please can other shops and homes be aware. I have reported eon to the police. Don't let anyone in the shops other than environmental health and trading standards who will have IDs and a reason to be there.

10 Jul 2024, 8:13am Me and viv our area manager will be around the shops auditing the sales logs and tills - just for everyone to aware if you come in and see pen on the books. I'm red /viv will be green . She will be double checking figures after Me after I audit the books . Staff please don't write in the books in other than black or blue ink. Many thanks
10 Jul 2024, 7:31am Brynmawr Shop is still struggling. It's open Monday - Friday 9:30-4 approx.
Our staff there helped 9 Mothers and babies over the last two weeks so there is definitely a need for the service in Brynmawr .
Can we ask all our followers from Ebbw Vale, Brynmawr, Blaenavon to spread the word and share our post please. Explain that 100% of any money made goes back into the Baby Bank to help mothers .

Sponsored slimmers, need to set a obtainable goal like 10lb in a month, and then we can re evaluate if the sponsored event can be rolled over another month or funds returned after 10lb loss.

21 Jun 2024, 6:09pm We do not take offers. Please do not embarrass yourself and staff by continually asking . We are fundraising for vulnerable babies and children and I will not take 1p less than the items is worth because these children are worth every penny!
Discount is a privilege for volunteers who give up hours upon hours of their time for us and to help babies and children in need.
