£20 - 75% DISCOUNT £5 cost to baby bank
£25 - 75% DISCOUNT £6.25 cost to baby bank
£40 - 75% DISCOUNT £10 cost to baby bank
£50 - 75% DISCOUNT £12.50 cost to baby bank
As staff would have been entitled to discount at 75% if purchased.

9 Apr 2025, 9:37am Volunteers get minimum £20 of stock allowance a shift but you have to be working. We don't need sitting arounders each shop is recieving at least 100 bags of donations a day.
£20- 75% = £5 cost to baby bank - being a volunteer = free for helping.
This is tax free, you won't loose benefits or allowance. Update jobcentres and hmrc advisable but they can not tax second hand goods and it a gesture of goodwill from

29 Mar 2025, 11:21am I have the same little bunch of nuisances coming into Pontypool shop badgering the staff for discount on prices. We are a shop not a market stall or bootsale. Prices are set to keep it fair for all our customers. If you come in again asking for a discount I will ban you from using all of our shops and facilities because me and the staff are sick to death of telling you . There are signs up in the shop.
